At The Gardens of Paulding our care plans are created to address the medically complex
needs of our residents, while promoting the highest possible quality of life and level
of function. We offer both long-term and short-term care as well as respite care for those
times when primary at-home caretakers are in need of a short break. Our professional
staff, led by our medical director, consists of attending physicians, physical, occupational
and speech therapists, nursing staff, activities director, care plan coordinators and social
workers. Specialty medical services are also provided on-site as needed.

Rehabilitative Services / Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapies
The goal of rehabilitation is to help residents return to their homes following a lengthy hospital or rehabilitation stay. Individuals in need of these services receive inter- disciplinary care specifically designed for their particular needs. When the time is right, rehabilitation services transition to restorative services as we test the durability of newly acquired skills and help residents continue to improve their stamina. We involve family and caretakers to prepare them to support the resident after discharge. We can also make in-home visits to identify and remediate any barriers within the environment that might present challenges to the individual’s ability to fully function independently at home.m.
